LCD Soundsystem’s New Album Is Finally Finished, According To Frontman James Murphy

first_imgOn Friday, May 26th, LCD Soundsystem delivered a headlining performance on the first night of Sasquatch! Music Festival at the legendary Gorge Amphitheatre in George, WA. During their set–a replacement for Frank Ocean‘s cancelled performance–frontman James Murphy candidly shared some news that fans of the band have been eagerly awaiting since their reunion in 2016. LCD Soundsystem’s new album is “finally done, feel like we knocked it out of the park on this one.”The album–the group’s first since their 2010 pre-breakup LP This Is Happening–will feature the two songs the band released earlier this month, “Call The Police” and “American Dream,” as well as “Tonight” (premiered during their 5-night, venue-opening run at Brooklyn Steel last month) and several more as-of-yet unheard tracks. The band recently appeared on Saturday Night Live, where they debuted “American Dream” and “Call The Police” to the masses unable to attend the Brooklyn Steel shows (where photos and videos were explicitly prohibited by the band). You can get excited for LCD Soundsystem’s long-awaited new album by watching video of the Brooklyn-based band perform “Call the Police” and “American Dream” on Saturday Night Live below:“Call The Police”“American Dream”[h/t – Pitchfork]last_img read more

The club want him to have more bite upfront and the board expect a lot from the Frenchman.Advertisement Barcelona have placed Griezmann as one of the untouchables.and they have good reason to do so, although they need money in their accounts after the crisis.‘Sport’ already assured that he will not leave for the 120 million euros that the club signed him for and because they believe there is much room for improvement with the current season’s data on the table. The Barca board will ask for much more from Griezmann as soon as football resumes because at the highest levels of the club a lot is expected form the ex-Atlético player, especially with regards to scoring and in the final third.Griezmann’s numbers have gone from being better in defence than in attack, sinning from what Diego Simeone once taught him. But no, Barca want him to make a change and be a player with more bite.Barca will demand double figure from GriezmannRead Also: Ex-Barca president tips Messi to pen new deal as Neymar returnsHowever, the club value, according to ‘AS’, the attitude he is having to integrate into the dressing room and they way in which he arrived, i.e. with astonishing humility and a desire to learn as if he were an 18-year-old.If this season is played, Griezmann would be under the magnifying glass because of the injuries to Suárez and Dembélé, but the one that will really be important is the following. Until the break, the world champion played 27 matches, scoring 14 goals and getting 4 assists.
