There are four cruise lines that call Boston their “home port” – Holland America, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, and Seabourn. Boston also has 20 cruise companies that are “port of call”, meaning that they stop at Boston’s Cruiseport along their journey. Opened in 1986, the Cruiseport is owned and operated by the Massachusetts Port Authority.
